I’ve been in the insurance industry for what feels like my whole life, but, is actually only 9 years. I’d made it this far without being in a position in my company where I’d had to sit in on interviews, but, that has changed.
I was on the interview team for two positions last year and am doing another round this week. Maybe this is a thing I don’t do often enough to get good at because I always find myself “re-inventing the wheel” when I put together my notes for the interview questions.
The truth is I believe in first impressions and “gut feelings”, (and thankfully Monster agrees with me). So, how much preparation should I be doing?
This is definitely something I want to get better at, do you have any suggested books or resources? What questions do you ask in interviews?
