Webinar, Jan. 12, 2021: Employment Law Update 2021 – COVID Compliance & CFRA Expansion
Webinar Sponsored by United Agencies Insurance
Please join us on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 8:30AM to 12:00PM (PST) for our annual employment law update event, entitled, “Employment Law Update 2021: COVID Compliance and CFRA Expansion.”
The COVID 19 pandemic has created upheaval in daily life, especially in the workplace. As 2020 thankfully comes to a close, a number of workplace COVID prevention requirements have been mandated by the legislature and state agencies. Employers must understand these requirements and prepare for compliance well into 2021.
Although COVID issues continue being a primary focus for employers, California has also adopted some far reaching changes in employment law that will impact nearly all employers, the foremost being the expansion of the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) to companies with five or more employees.
At this informative virtual briefing session, Erick Becker, head of the Labor and Employment practice at Cummins and White, will update you on all of the changes to employment law on both the state and federal levels.
Attendance at this webinar will help human resources professionals, managers and business owners navigate the new employment landscape in 2021.
