Eric is an industry veteran, having owned and managed two agencies over the past 30 years.  Prior to joining United Agencies Burbank in 2021, he owned Viking Risk and Insurance which happened to be a member of United Agencies.

Early in his career, he was fortunate to land an internship working for a broker at Lloyds of London. Then he earned the preeminent professional designation, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.  This designation requires passing an impressive series of exams and conformance to a code of ethical behavior.

Additionally, Eric has served the insurance community in many capacities, including Chairman of the Commercial Insurance Committee for IBA West, President of the California El Camino Chapter of the Society of CPCU, and Board member of IBA West of the San Fernando Valley. Eric received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA.

Eric and his wife Christina have two adult sons.  He loves playing competitive softball and spending time with family and friends, chillin’ and grillin’ at his home in Northridge.
