UA Workshops & Seminars
Effective 11/30/2020 Cal-OSHA implemented emergency regulations regarding COVID-19 and how to prevent the spread of the disease. This includes investigating a COVID-19 case, providing notices to certain employees, implementing a written prevention plan, testing after a workplace case, making certain disclosures and notices to 3rd parties and health departments in the event of an outbreak, and some training requirements. Additionally, there is a new paid time off requirement where employees who cannot work due to an isolation, quarantine mandate, or a positive test, must continue to be paid their regular wages.
While our new normal is “in session,” we have been adjusting and adapting to being as productive as we can. In this webinar, Executive Coach and CEO/Founder to Executive Performance Institute for Coaching Jenna Dillon will be looking at how to enhance your bandwidth during the COVID19 season, as well as strategizing effective productivity methods for getting back to the next new normal (i.e. post-pandemic).
In this focused look at the benefits of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other Wellness platforms that most of us have available to us, but get under-utilized. We will dive deeper into the following items to help better deliver the care that our employees and their families at home need: Understanding the increased need for additional support in these times; Learning the great benefits of an EAP platform for delivering the needed support; Other helpful products and tools available to create peace and calm; A look at caring for the whole body of physical wellness to create mental and emotional wellness.
Please join us on Thursday, Jun 18, 2020 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (PDT) for a very important webinar, entitled, “Managing the Risks of Permanently Moving Your Workers Home.”
After the Covid-19 “Shelter In Place” orders caused many employers to move all, or large portions of their workforce home, many are asking “well, should this be a permanent change? What are the risks we’re not seeing?”
The relaxation of “Shelter in Place” ordinances is great news for employers but carries new questions about how to return employees to the workforce in the midst of the current pandemic. This presentation will guide you through best practices in getting “Back to Business”, to provide employees with a safe workplace, create comfort with customers and to help avoid future litigation for failure to properly implement appropriate measures.
