September is National Preparedness Month!
National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies. Within the last 30 days, two devastating natural disasters destroyed billions of dollars of property; the Maui Wildfire and Hurricane Idalia. Both serve as a warning that natural disasters may occur at any time.
In the case of an Earthquake, they almost always happen without any warning. Industry experts agree that it’s not a matter of “IF the Big One” will happen in California, it’s “WHEN.”
